If you run a shop, sell online, or simply need to get something to someone, you want two things from a delivery company: that your package arrives, and that you know what is happening along the way. This guide explains exactly how we handle both our Lagos doorstep delivery and our waybill service to other states, so you know what to expect before you send anything.
Doorstep delivery in Lagos State
Doorstep delivery means we do not ask the receiver to come and find the package at a park or office. We collect it from you, and we take it to the address you give us anywhere within Lagos State. It suits shop owners sending orders to customers, people sending gifts or documents, and businesses with regular deliveries.
How it works
- You send the details. Message us on WhatsApp or fill the quote form. We need what you are sending, the pickup address, the delivery address and the receiver's phone number.
- We confirm the price. We tell you the delivery fee before we move, based on distance and the size and weight of the package. No surprise charges at the door.
- Pickup. A rider comes to your location at the agreed time. We look at the package with you and check that it is packed and sealed properly.
- Receiver is called. Before arrival, the rider contacts the receiver so someone is ready to receive it. This one call prevents most failed deliveries.
- Handover and confirmation. The package is handed over at the door, and we confirm completion with you.
The best way to speed this up is to send complete information the first time: a working phone number for the receiver and an address with a nearby landmark.
What a waybill is and why it matters
A waybill is the paperwork that travels with a package. It records what is being shipped, who sent it, who will receive it and where it is going. Think of it as the package's identity card.
That record matters for three reasons:
- Traceability. Every package can be matched to a sender, a receiver and a destination, so it can be followed up if you need an update.
- Accountability. The details are written down at pickup, so there is no argument later about what was sent.
- Smooth hand-offs. When a package changes hands on a long journey, the waybill tells everyone where it should end up.
Sending across Nigeria, step by step
When your package is going to another state, we use our interstate waybill service. Here is the process from start to finish.
- Tell us the destination. Give us the state and town, the receiver's full name and phone number, and what is inside the package.
- We quote and you confirm. The fee depends on the destination, weight and size. Nothing is dispatched until you agree.
- Pickup or drop-off. We collect from your location in Lagos, or you bring the package to us. Either way, we check the packing and seal it for the journey.
- Waybill is issued. The package details are recorded and you receive the waybill information, which you can use to follow up on the shipment.
- Transit. Your package travels to the destination state.
- Arrival and notification. The receiver is told the package has arrived, and we confirm completion with you.
Tell your receiver in advance that a package is coming and give them our number. Receivers who are expecting a package collect it much faster.
What affects the price
We do not publish one flat rate because no two packages are the same. These are the factors that decide your fee:
- Distance or destination. A delivery within Lagos costs differently from one to another state.
- Weight. Heavier packages cost more to move.
- Size. A bulky but light package can cost as much as a heavy one, because it takes up more space.
- Urgency. If you need something moved quickly, tell us at the start so we can plan for it.
- Pickup. Collection from your location is part of the plan we agree with you.

How to pack your parcel
A long journey is harder on a package than a trip across town. Good packing is the cheapest insurance you have.
- Use a strong box or bag that suits the size of the item. Avoid thin, worn packaging.
- Fill empty space with paper or soft padding so items do not shift and knock together.
- Wrap fragile items separately and tell us they are fragile.
- Seal well with strong tape across all seams.
- Label clearly with the receiver's name, phone number and destination.
- Keep documents flat and dry in a sealed envelope or waterproof cover.

Tips for online sellers

- Pack every order the same way so you can send it fast and consistently.
